Mission Green Earth

It is time for action, no more talk, let’s join hands and work together to make this world more greener. The target 10 crore trees planted this year in India as part of United Nations and Art of Living initiative “Mission Green Earth: Stand Up and Take Action“. Almost all the Art of Living Chapters in India are working towards this goal. We kicked off this initiative in my neighborhood (Kammanahalli, HRBR Layout, HBR Layout in Bangalore) on the Independence Day with 6 schools joining hands together in this initiative.

You can read more about UN Millenium Development Goals especially Environment Sustainability out here.

Attached are a few photographs from the tree plantation event conducted on 15th Aug

Do your bit towards greening your environment today!

  1. Hi Raj, Singapore is one place in the world that beleives and implements mission green. It’s common to find green gardens on high rise offices and apartments. We have been observing this for sometime and during our last visit to India bought around 100 saplings from Lalbagh and planted them in our area LB Shastri Nagar. First few days my husband watered all the plants so the neighbourhood will watch and water that are planted in front of their houses. Subsequently we watered only our lane. I do hope the saplings will get to live thier complete life.
